Shana Tova, thank you so much for this very thoughtful & informative stack. I did enjoy very much Rabbi Rietti. Having said that, the short documentary on the Royal Family, much of the history I knew, was terrifying. I knew Charles was a climate lunatic, but had no idea of his position & power in the WEF or really how psychologically damaged he is. He is now a very dangerous person.
This is another fantastic column which will get to my blog BE"H. The publication of the rulings of the rabbonim was amazing; I had not seen that before. It is a year old, and we have much more information now. I do not see news about this on Israel National News, Jewish Press, Algemeiner, Hamodia - is any major outlet discussing this honestly?
Good Shabbos and should we not speak sooner, L'Shanah Tovah!
No, but it does get confusing. 5783 means that world has completed 5783 years and is starting its 5784th year. The only reason I know that is because someone explained it once.
I’m new as a Torah follower and am a little confused. I thought Sunday/Monday was Yom Terah (Trumpets) and then 10 Days of Awe and then Rosh Hashanah. The way I read your article it seems this week is Rosh Hashanah. Am I wrong?
Here’s the calendar: Sunday night starts Rosh Hashana, which is also known as Yom Teruah, because the shofar is blown on Rosh Hashana (to coronate G-d as King and to arouse us to repent, among other reasons.) Rosh Hashana continues Monday and Tuesday.
There is a total of 10 days of Repentance which starts on Rosh Hashana and which culminates in Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, an extremely holy day spent in prayer and fasting.
It is customary among Torah Jews that when writing things such as letters or articles which may end up being discarded, we do not spell out His Name fully. This is so that there won’t be desecration of His name when the paper is thrown away. Of course, a Siddur (prayer book) or Book of Psalms and the like, do have His Name spelled out fully.

Wow Rabbi Rietti was sent from heaven his message was so uplifting. Baruch HaShem and thanks for all you do!
Brucha:
You are a force of nature for good in this corrupt ערב רב driven world. Keep shining the light.
שנה טובה ומתוקה.

Let’s have everyone spread the booklet to the news outlets…
L’shana tova!
By the way... My calendar says we are going into the new year 5783, not 5784 as stated above. Is there an alternative calendar?

Of course, that makes more sense. The first year was year 1, not year 0.
Is the documentary in English? I would like to see it but only find news clips in Hebrew.
When I was listening, the voice was in English.
Hmm. I cannot seem to find it..
You mean this one, right? After about 1 minute it turns to English narration.

Thanks for clearing that up for me

Amen, you too!
