Wearing Masks Can Increase The Risk Of Stillbirths (and create a host of other health problems, including permanent memory loss.)
Plus testicular toxicity
BS”D
Of all the gravely harmful parts to the “2019 nightmare” we’ve been dealing with for the past 3+ years, masks are often under-appreciated for how bad they are for our physical and emotional health (and how absolutely useless they are, as well.)
I confess that I myself did not fully realize the extent of the damage they cause and the evil that lies behind them for quite a while.
When I see people still wearing masks, I so much want to approach them and educate them. I feel like crying out to them, “you are killing your brain cells, acidifying your blood, and robbing your brain, lungs, and all your organs of oxygen. This cannot lead to any good - only to increased risk of infection and other illness, and early dementia. And it’s all for absolutely nothing, because it’s not protecting you from infection at all.”
But sadly, I almost never worked up the courage to say any of that.
I can remember two times that I did try, both apparently unsuccessfully.
Once, in 2022, I was in a shoe store with my children, and I was struck by two adorable little Hispanic girls, perhaps 6 and 8 years old, wearing braids - and masks. It pained me so much to see them getting damaged, and I speak Spanish, so I started talking to their mother and explaining the real science. While she was polite, I saw that I was not having any impact. Much more tragically, she mentioned that the girls had already been covid-vaccinated. That really shook me up.
The next time I got up the courage to try to explain that masks are unnecessary, unhelpful and dangerous to one’s health, was to a sweet young woman who always wore her mask, and had even given up a job in order to keep wearing it, because she thought it was so important. She, too, had been so thoroughly indoctrinated that I didn’t feel that the science I was talking was meaningful to her. And in this instance as well, she soon revealed that she had just gotten her booster and was going to give her little toddler the covid shot when she turned two. I tried so hard to talk her out of that idea, and I have no idea whether I had an impact. 😰
I was reminded of these stories after I read this article, which presents new findings that should really give pause to anyone who would ever think about masking up again.
The piece is from the substack “Naked Emperor” - as in the famous story where the emperor has no clothes.
I noticed that some readers are commenting on the original article, saying that the release of information showing that masks can cause stillbirths, could be a diversion away from blaming the covid injections which so many pregnant women have received.
I agree that it could divert blame, and it is certainly not my intention to do so over here. We know the covid shots lead to fetal death, but it’s also only logical that it’s a HORRIBLE idea to reduce your unborn baby’s oxygen supply. So I think this study is very important, and the results make sense to me. They also align with the other harms we’ve read about from previous studies.
Wearing Masks Can Increase The Risk Of Stillbirths
Another study has raised concerns about the potential risks associated with prolonged mask-wearing, particularly in vulnerable populations such as pregnant women, children, and adolescents. Weird how none of these studies came out when mask mandates were in force.
The German study conducted by Kai Kisielinski et al. suggests that prolonged mask-wearing may lead to increased carbon dioxide (CO2) exposure, which could have toxic effects on human health. They say fresh air has around 0.04% CO2 while wearing masks for more than 5 minutes can lead to chronic exposure of CO2 of 1.41% to 3.2% of inhaled air.
Some of the potential risks identified in animal studies included:
Fetal defects and still births
Just 0.5% carbon dioxide for a few minutes to an hour per day is capable of inducing stillbirths and birth defects in guinea pigs.
The US Navy became aware of this level as it is often exceeded on submarines so they conducted their own experiments with rats. A 3% CO2 toxicity was observed in pregnant dams. After this experiment the Navy set exposure limits for female crew at 0.8% CO2.
Neurotoxicity
Pregnant rats with an exposure of 0.3% CO2 gave birth to pups with reduced spatial learning and memory. This was attributed to damaged neurons in the part of the brain called the hippocampus. This damage is irreversible and affects mental health in the long term.
At 0.1% CO2 the pups demonstrated increased anxiety which was more pronounced at 0.3%.
It also caused oxidative stress causing DNA fragmentation. This causes mitochondrial damage and ultimately cell death.
Another study exposed adolescent mice to 0.3% CO2 24 hours a day for 7 weeks. Compared with the control group, the rats were unable to learn at the same rate and were left with an irreversible loss of neurons.
Male reproductive toxicity
Adolescent rats exposed to 2.5% CO2 for 4 hours showed signs of diminished fertility.
There was marked damage to testes function.
The authors note that small laboratory animals have been evolutionary adapted to living in burrows and caves and are therefore limited as indicators for CO2 since they are much less sensitive to it than humans. But there are very few human studies so animal studies are all we have.
Furthermore, the studies are not always representative of real-world settings where masks can be worn all day in some cases.
Another thing that wasn’t looked at is that the CO2 content of the breathing air behind the mask may also lead to a displacement of oxygen. This can additionally lead to other complications such as spinal malformations due to hypoxia.
They conclude that “there is circumstantial evidence that popular mask use may be related to current observations of a significant rise of 28% to 33% in stillbirths worldwide and a reduced verbal, motor, and overall cognitive performance of two full standard deviations in scores in children born during the pandemic”.

Here is a previous study in which the authors concluded that harms from mask-wearing may have been mislabeled as “long covid.” How convenient. https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fpubh.2023.1125150/full

Background: As face masks became mandatory in most countries during the COVID-19 pandemic, adverse effects require substantiated investigation.
Methods: A systematic review of 2,168 studies on adverse medical mask effects yielded 54 publications for synthesis and 37 studies for meta-analysis (on n = 8,641, m = 2,482, f = 6,159, age = 34.8 ± 12.5). The median trial duration was only 18 min (IQR = 50) for our comprehensive evaluation of mask induced physio-metabolic and clinical outcomes.
Results: We found significant effects in both medical surgical and N95 masks, with a greater impact of the second. These effects included decreased SpO2(overall Standard Mean Difference, SMD = −0.24, 95% CI = −0.38 to −0.11, p < 0.001) and minute ventilation (SMD = −0.72, 95% CI = −0.99 to −0.46, p < 0.001), simultaneous increased in blood-CO2 (SMD = +0.64, 95% CI = 0.31–0.96, p < 0.001), heart rate (N95: SMD = +0.22, 95% CI = 0.03–0.41, p = 0.02), systolic blood pressure (surgical: SMD = +0.21, 95% CI = 0.03–0.39, p = 0.02), skin temperature (overall SMD = +0.80 95% CI = 0.23–1.38, p = 0.006) and humidity (SMD +2.24, 95% CI = 1.32–3.17, p < 0.001). Effects on exertion (overall SMD = +0.9, surgical = +0.63, N95 = +1.19), discomfort (SMD = +1.16), dyspnoea (SMD = +1.46), heat (SMD = +0.70), and humidity (SMD = +0.9) were significant in n = 373 with a robust relationship to mask wearing (p < 0.006 to p < 0.001). Pooled symptom prevalence (n = 8,128) was significant for: headache (62%, p < 0.001), acne (38%, p < 0.001), skin irritation (36%, p < 0.001), dyspnoea (33%, p < 0.001), heat (26%, p < 0.001), itching (26%, p < 0.001), voice disorder (23%, p < 0.03), and dizziness (5%, p = 0.01).
Discussion: Masks interfered with O2-uptake and CO2-release and compromised respiratory compensation. Though evaluated wearing durations are shorter than daily/prolonged use, outcomes independently validate mask-induced exhaustion-syndrome (MIES) and down-stream physio-metabolic disfunctions. MIES can have long-term clinical consequences, especially for vulnerable groups. So far, several mask related symptoms may have been misinterpreted as long COVID-19 symptoms. In any case, the possible MIES contrasts with the WHO definition of health.
Here is a collection of more than 170 studies and articles, published in December 2021, documenting the harms of face masks and their ineffectiveness in stopping transmission of infection:
There may be evidence of the pregnancy and testes health from studies but it reminds me of all that evidence that showed dropping dead adults SAD was to do with shoveling snow, having sex, running, exercise etc.
It’s to do with anything and everything BUT THE JAB.
To see for sure, we would need Ed Dowd to do an insurance scan of excess negative pregnancy outcomes in surgical and dental staff who regularly wear masks for hours per day.
Thank you for this insight. I have never worn a mask. I do my best to convince others not to do so. In our family get-togethers none of my children or grandchildren ever wore a mask. Some family members were forced to wear them at school or work, unfortunately. One of my granddaughters fought against it, but I don't know if she was successful, or whether they just dropped the mandate shortly thereafter.
