What did I mean by “We are on the brink of something HUGE”?
One of my readers asked me to clarify, and I realized I need to explain better to everyone.
BS”D
I wonder if some readers are surprised that I’m talking about spiritual things, when they might have subscribed for covid vaccine information. My intent has always been to work to sanctify G-d’s Name and to attempt to save lives, and now as immense worldwide events seems near, I feel a great responsibility to inform as many people as possible.
Recently, a subscriber responded to me, asking for clarification. What am I thinking is soon to happen, that made me put out the call for prayers and repentance now, and why did I suggest those specific prayers? He was referring to this article:
His questions were sincere and made me realize that I owe it to ALL my readers to explain these critical matters more clearly.
G-d willing, I’ll try my best here.
What many who study Torah deeply are thinking - based on what has been foretold in the Prophets, and the current signs of approaching world war - is that we may likely be facing the war of Gog and Magog. This is the war that will take place before the Final Redemption. The Final Redemption process, as foretold in the Prophets, is part of G-d’s plan for the world. The Redemption will usher in a wonderful era for all of mankind.
Frightening things are written about the war of Gog and Magog. There is the potential for great destruction (I guess that is an understatement.)
Apparently there is a great selection that will take place by G-d, between those who deserve to survive and those who don’t. We don’t fully understand the details of what will happen in this war, not at all. The prophecies are, purposely, vague. That leaves room for them to be fulfilled with kindness, if we deserve it. In fact, we are taught that while a positive prophecy will definitely be fulfilled, a negative prophecy does not have to be fulfilled - if we repent and no longer deserve those consequences. And individuals may be saved or not saved, based on their merits.
So, everything foretold about the “End of Times” can happen with mercy - and that’s what we hope for and work towards.
In other words, let’s teach everyone about morality and help them return to knowledge of their Creator, so that we all are on the “right side.”
May it be His will that all the world’s inhabitants choose G-d now, and merit life.
To emerge on the right side of this, we need repentance (to return to living as G-d has asked us to), prayer, Torah study, and immersion in acts of kindness.
As to why I chose those specific prayers to publicize in the article, there were a few reasons. I was trying to provide some very important prayers which people can pray, because I kept saying “pray!” and it occurred to me that people may not know what to pray.
The Shema prayer is the central prayer of Judaism. It affirms our belief in One God, His absolute power, and that He is the ONLY power. But the first verse is an extremely valuable and important prayer for every single person to say, to affirm their belief in One God, the Creator of the world.
Knowing with certainty that there is no other power besides Him and focusing one’s entire thoughts on this concept (“Ain Od Milvado” - there is nothing besides Him), is a VERY powerful way to be saved from danger, even in totally miraculous fashion.
The subsequent portions of Shema (which I included) teach some of what G-d asks of us and illustrate the concept of reward and punishment.
I included part of Aleinu because I wanted everyone to understand that we pray for the time of the Redemption when ALL of humanity will serve G-d as one (and discard belief in any other “powers.”) I included the Ani Ma’amin because those are the central articles of faith in G-d. I included Psalm 91 as a sample Psalm, because Psalms are so powerful to recite, to be saved from danger.

Yes! Pray people! It looks like we are in the Last Days. Satan may know his time is short. He is on a tear. The evil ones are in the middle of killing off as many people as they can. Pray.
