The ridiculous excuses that they've invented for these things that you've describe - the clots and heart attacks - don't seem to me to be an indication of nefarious duplicity on their part, but rather it seems more likely that it points to an external force applying a complete mind-belief-system re-imprint in their brains. It seems like some kind of high tech hypnosis - like what has been proposed is possible by mixing quantum tech and graphene
