I realized after posting this article that I might have appeared to imply something I didn’t mean.
When I said that in May 2020 we realized that covid was pretty much over, but that we’d have to move forward on our own with returning to normal life, because the government wasn’t planning on it anytime soon - that may have sounded like I meant that closing the schools and synagogues in March-April, at the height of covid, WAS the right decision. I now realize that it wasn’t. It was playing into “their” hands.
I obviously wasn’t involved in making any decisions for anyone except my family. But I am sad to say that I totally bought into the fear at that time and pretty much totally stayed home for a couple months. (I had a baby girl on April 18, 2020, so maybe I get a bit of a pass.)
So I am certainly not blaming anyone for succumbing to that initial wave of fear which the evil powers orchestrated so well.
But I now realize that was a mistake.
Even as I’m writing this and reliving those horrible times (near-constant ambulance sirens and near-daily reports of more people we knew in critical condition; neighbors going to the hospital and not knowing if they’d come back, losing friends, an aunt, one of our Rabbis, and many others we knew or knew of), it feels so difficult to imagine acting differently.
But I know there were people who were smarter than me who DID act differently.
They were way ahead of the curve. They didn’t read the media reports that were designed to paralyze us with fear. They kept attending synagogue. They had stashes of hydroxychloroquine that they gave out, saving countless lives.
I know 2 synagogues that stayed open throughout. The one that I know the data on did NOT lose any members. I doubt the other one did, either, as the Rabbi was giving out hydroxychloroquine to anyone who needed.
While our synagogue, which did close down for about 2 months, did lose a member (in the hospital, he was probably murdered. 😰)
It’s very significant that the period of critical illness and death started only AS SOON AS the yeshivas and synagogues closed. On a spiritual level, the great merit of Torah study and communal prayer that serves as a shield, was to a large degree lost. Maybe that’s why the deaths started then. 😰
I know now that every life that was lost was an unnecessary death, as proper early treatment would have saved virtually every single person. And I know now that so, so many people were killed in hospitals, either knowingly or unknowingly, just by following the murderous no-steroid, no-HCQ, etc, ventilator protocol dictated by the government. (Of course, ultimately it was G-d’s plan - but those responsible for acting evilly must be brought to justice.)
I did NOT know the truth about the ventilators that spring. I did know a bit about treatment from our pediatrician, who told me that HCQ works as treatment and prevention.
I wish I knew then what I know now, to have been able to save people.
I believe strongly that our community was specifically targeted with something that made many people VERY sick (and led them to the hospital where they were killed.)
Dr. David Martin told me that he believes we were targeted through our water supply.
I believe that the evil powers wanted the NY community to lose many people (1,000 people from the religious Jewish community on the East Coast died in one month 😱), and thus be an “example” to the nationwide Jewish community that they need to take covid extremely seriously (lockdowns and vaccines. 💔) Sadly it worked.
